J. Riverhill aka Juha Korhonen
Juha Korhonen was born in 1976 in Central Finland into a family of mother, father and two older brothers. In the age of ten he had his first spiritual experience: while lying in his bed ready to sleep, maybe half asleep, he suddenly felt a troubling, intimidating energy. He saw himself in an open bright space and felt as if a dark energy was rushing towards him. Immediately after this, he opened his eyes and woke up from the bad vision. He didn’t tell anyone about the experience, thinking that his parents and other close ones were better off not hearing anything about it. He experienced this particular vision several times afterwards, always just before falling asleep. Some other times when trying to sleep, he fell into a similar type of in-between state where he could feel a strong energy rising from his hands, arms, and chest. It felt as if there were bricks lying on top of his hands. When he meditated with a friend years later, he could again feel those same bricks pressing his hands. Afterwards he realized that it was a prologue for his calling – the one he is still following today.
Because of the life work and spiritual development that Juha had chosen for himself for this life, in his early years he had to go through living hell. As a six-year-old preschooler he met a disabled boy who had significant problems in his life and was extremely rude towards Juha. That boy was what set Juha’s spiritual training rolling. Bullying was an enormous issue in his
life before he turned 18. Especially his time in comprehensive and secondary school was a purgatory of sorts. Imagine this little boy, shortest of his class, bursting with energy, having to deal with strong negativity, even hate, from the people around him day, after day for a time that seemed endless. Juha says he did many things he shouldn’t have done back then, including pulling his pants down in front of the whole class. He was the clown of the class; if somebody urged him to do something or told him that he couldn’t do it, he was right up for the challenge. He says that all this tomfoolery didn’t really help him – rather, everything just got worse. Bullying burst into flames, and especially with one of his classmates who was a perfect mirror of his life lesson. Juha calls it “a nine year war with my classmate Jouni”. It took him another 20 years to really understand his life purpose and the real essence of oneness – oneness even with his former bullies.
Several years passed. One evening Juha was sitting in a sauna with his uncle who had just returned from a spiritual meeting. One of the lectures in the meeting had been about the pyramids and how it is impossible that they were built with manpower alone – the stones were extremely heavy and they were brought from some 600 miles away. Juha’s uncle told him that some higher creature must have made the stones weightless. “That is when my eyes started to open”, Juha says.
Most Finns are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. At the age of 15, Juha attended one of the church’s traditional confirmation camps like most of the youngsters of his age. One evening during one of the evening songs that were sung in the camp, he experienced a strong personal connection with God. This was probably what triggered his seeking for the truth. After his confirmation Juha started reading spiritual literature instead of religious literature, something one would not expect after experiencing a connection with God during a religious song. As his quest had just begun, Juha didn’t know what to do. He called a medium that his uncle had recommended for him, and the medium gave him some guidance, where to start, what to read, etc. Then Juha stumbled on a book that would become very special to him: Johannes Greber’s “Spiritism”. Johannes was a Catholic reverend who realized that there was much more to life than what the Bible or the church
claims to be true. That also, Juha says, opened his eyes to understand that life itself was much more complicated than he had previously thought.
Some time after this he went to a local library and let the energy guide him to find the books that would help him discover the secrets of life. He read many Charles Berlitz’s and Erich Von Däniken’s books which got him interested in finding every possible detail about Atlantis. Juha says that Atlantis was something that really shook him and that it became his main interest on his spiritual path. He also became interested in his soul and the lives before this one. He spent about 15 years studying and unearthing his past lives. Juha say that even though it was just a hobby for him back then, it is now one of the most important tools he needs in his work in studying people’s karma and what actually happened in their previous lives when the karma was created.
After seeking the truth for many years, trying to find meanings and solutions to numerous things in his life, Juha went through the life lesson that he calls Fear and Refuge (Juha uses the word “refuge” to describe the opposite of fear). This particular life lesson is among the most difficult ones to comprehend and to put into action in one’s life. At that time, at the age of 20, he had a strong feeling of purposelessness and uselessness to anyone, but he pressed on. What would have been important to him, he says, was finding a woman into his life, but even talking to a pretty girl was extremely difficult for him. He also felt that he couldn’t do a single thing right. He had studied to be a chef, but he wasn’t good enough for the profession as he couldn’t handle the pressure involved in it. In comprehensive school, nothing except history interested him – therefore he wasn’t passionate about anything, really. Little by little, Juha started to think that it would be better to end his life; he was angry with himself, life, and God. He wanted to give up, despite knowing that experiencing these feelings was actually a part of his life lesson.
Juha found himself at the bottom of a well, sitting there all alone. He couldn’t tell anyone about it because of the enormous shame he felt about even considering taking his own life. Yet, on some level, he felt he had no other choice. Gradually he started to feel that he had reached the lowest point in his life and that now he was able to get up. Juha noticed that he was also mentally able to do it. After experiencing this low point, he could finally recover.
After the bad experience was over he realized that he wanted to adopt a more positive outlook on life, that seeing everything in a positive light was the only way he could help himself. Things started to unfold. At the age of 22, Juha moved to England to work as a chef. His agent tried to employ him as a commis chef. However, it wasn’t the right kind of job for him, and he found himself doing dishes for nine months. Nevertheless, he says it was a great opportunity for him to learn English and that all of these different jobs led Juha where he is now at this very moment.
At one point Juha became interested in healing and helping others. He found himself following the powerful teachings of a spiritual teacher called Esko Jalkanen who happened to live nearby. From those teachings he learned the basics and how to help people and purify energies. At the age of 25, Juha was asked to lead Esko Jalkanen’s spiritual healing group in his hometown. He led the group for about three years, but during that time he discovered many new perspectives to life and spirituality which ultimately led him to resign from the group. That is when Juha also set the goal for his spiritual path: he wanted to become enlightened.
Positive thinking allowed him to see everything clearer and from a wider perspective, so all of his false believes started to vanish. “That was when I had to scrub away lots of dirt from my heart due to my previous actions in this life” Juha says. As he grew more in his spirit, he began to better understand life itself. At the age of 28, he had his first real relationship when his now ex-wife and the mother of his children entered his life. Juha says that she had an enormous impact on his life because she gave him a chance to grow as a person and to become a better man. Juha adds that his children – all three of them – have also taught him great many things. Especially patience.
The year 2004 brought new energy and love to Juha’s life; his daughter Anna was born. Juha thinks that fatherhood is one of the main causes of his development and progress on his spiritual path. The following year, Juha met a spiritual teacher who truly woke up a golden energy in him. Juha understood what the most essential teachings are, the ones that all of us should hear and eventually understand in their fullest. Realizing that kind of a secret to life changed his path for good. Juha knew that here was the path he needed to step his foot on. His energy rose rapidly to its maximum.
A couple of years later, in 2006, Juha was so full of energy that he didn’t know what to do with it. His enlightenment energy started to rise, and he felt as if he was a part of all the universe, one with God, energy, angels, and all of creation. Then something bigger than life took place and Juha received a gift from life and from the Masters of Love; he was going to be initiated. This is what people usually call “enlightenment”. That event brought so much more richness and value into his life that it was enough to initiate his life work.
The year 2012 came with the second great life lesson for Juha, the lesson of Bitterness and Gratitude. He had suffered many years in an unhappy and unsatisfying marriage, so they eventually divorced. This time, however, it was necessary as it washed away many old feelings and bitter incidents from Juha’s past lives. He thought that he had already had all the bad and hopeless experiences he possibly could have on his path. But he was wrong – Juha had to go through hellfire once more. In the beginning of this lesson, he thought it was a test he could never pass. He felt that he was too far from the demands of this lesson which pushed him to his very limits. During that time, he had to cope with things alone – Juha’s guides, angels, and masters of light fell silent. He felt that this is was a problem that he needed to know how to solve himself and that nobody else could possibly help him. This was the first time on his spiritual path when he didn’t know how to proceed. Meanwhile, the Holy Spirit told him that it would be “nice” if started writing a book about the human’s inner self, 12 rays, and so on. ”At first I got furious”, he says, “I was going through the most difficult time of my life and Love wanted me to do even more”. After some time of melancholy, Juha finally said “Okay, I’ll do it”.
Some time went by, and Juha was still struggling. He called his friend, opened up to her and told her about his life. The friend listened, and they started joking and moved on to some less heavy topics – and yet Juha couldn’t laugh from the bottom his heart. His heart was heavy but talking helped him process his feelings. Recovering from the divorce and all the heavy feelings related to it took about three years overall. Then slowly, really slowly, things started to roll again – Juha saw light in the end of the tunnel once again.
Today, his life has turned out most satisfying; he found for himself a suitable life partner in Lyydia Luomanmäki aka Lydia Riverhill. With Lyydia as his partner and companion, he has been able to raise his vibration to a new dimension and everything in his life has found the right balance.
After working several different types of jobs in England, Ireland, Sweden, and of course inFinland, in 2015 he finally felt ready to move on in his career. He became a full-timeentrepreneur and begun the kind of work that matched his calling. After his book IhmisenKultainen Kirja (Engl. transl. The Golden Book of Humanity) was published in 2014, Juhabegan touring all around Finland and giving lectures, psychic readings, and training forpeople who are interested in their spiritual development. At the time of this interview in December 2017, Juha has worked as a full-time spiritualteacher for over two years, guiding people on their spiritual path towards enlightenment andsharing his valuable experiences and spiritual knowledge with others.
